Responsibilities
- Design and operate reliable GitHub-based CI/CD systems, including GitHub Actions, checks, and workflows.
- Own and evolve Bazel-based build and test infrastructure for C++, Python, Rust, and TypeScript development.
- Build and maintain Kubernetes-based services and cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
- Automate release, provisioning, and access workflows through GitHub-integrated systems.
- Improve build reliability and throughput by reducing flaky builds, failed deployments, and CI bottlenecks.
- Partner with engineers across the stack to make builds, tests, and deployments predictable and fast.
Requirements
- Strong experience operating GitHub-centric development workflows at scale.
- Deep familiarity with CI/CD systems and build reliability challenges.
- Experience with Bazel or similar large-scale build systems.
- Proficiency in cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
- Strong developer-experience and operational-leverage instincts.
- Experience improving CI throughput for hundreds of engineers is a bonus.
- Expertise in Bazel optimization, including remote caching, test sharding, or incremental builds, is a bonus.
- Security- or InfoSec-adjacent infrastructure automation experience is a bonus.
- Experience on internal developer productivity or platform teams is a bonus.
