Responsibilities
- Produce and oversee solution designs for digital systems from inception through production support.
- Lead application architecture, technical design, requirements validation, data modeling, functional design, testing, documentation, and post-implementation reviews.
- Design and implement high-performance, integrated web and mobile systems across on-premises, Azure/AWS cloud, and hybrid environments.
- Develop and implement application security improvements and ensure appropriate security controls protect networks, applications, and data.
- Coordinate with IT management, product owners, scrum masters, project managers, developers, architects, QA, business stakeholders, and third-party service providers.
- Create architecture artifacts, digital impact assessments, estimates, security-impact analyses, and technical requirements.
- Apply enterprise architecture principles, design patterns, service-oriented architecture, integration standards, and deployment best practices.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, coaching, stakeholder communication, and support for standardization and technical strategy.
Requirements
- At least seven years of experience in application design and development.
- At least three years of experience architecting applications using .NET and Microsoft technologies.
- At least three years of experience implementing or integrating digital enterprise applications in a complex business environment.
- At least two years of experience implementing or enhancing application security.
- High school diploma required; a master's degree in business, computer science, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of application security, infrastructure and security architecture, object-oriented principles, design patterns, SOA, enterprise systems, database design, and multi-tier architecture.
- Expertise with ASP.NET, MVC, Angular, VB.NET, XML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, SQL, content management systems, and GUI development.
- Experience with XML and web services, XSLT, SOAP, WSDL, UDDI, ESB architectures, cloud technologies, and enterprise application integration.
- Preferred experience includes cloud-based system design, Microsoft BizTalk or another enterprise service bus, MS Dynamics CRM, NoSQL, microservices, and mobile development with Xamarin, Xamarin Forms, or Ionic.
- Preferred certifications include Microsoft technical certifications, cloud architect certification, or other technical certifications in software and systems design and development.
- Ability to lead projects, manage multiple priorities, communicate with executives and technical teams, and work collaboratively across departments.
