Base Salary

$127k - $235k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and deliver high-quality software across the full software development lifecycle.
  • Build large-scale data-processing pipelines that support researchers in developing and training machine learning algorithms.
  • Develop high-performing, scalable systems for large online delivery environments.
  • Integrate machine learning and generative AI solutions into production-grade software.
  • Translate applied data science research into production-ready engineering solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional, remote, and interdisciplinary teams and communicate technical ideas effectively.
  • Contribute innovative approaches and take accountability for end-to-end delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of software engineering experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience working on a machine learning-related product or solution.
  • Deep understanding of Python software development stacks and ecosystems.
  • Ability to write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-tested code.
  • Experience adopting emerging technologies, collaborating with applied data scientists, and working with cloud computing development.
  • Experience implementing CI/CD, DevOps, and SDLC concepts in application delivery.
  • Understanding of ModelOps and MLOps principles.
  • Experience integrating machine learning and generative AI solutions into production-grade software.
  • Exposure to NLP problems and tasks including named entity recognition, information extraction, information retrieval, text classification, and summarization.
  • Hands-on experience with another programming or scripting language and development stack, such as Java, Rust, Scala, or TypeScript.
  • Ability to translate between research and engineering methodologies and demonstrate a track record of independently delivering results in unfamiliar problem spaces.
