Base Salary
$98k - $317k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, validate, and monitor agentic AI solutions in customer production environments.
- Develop AI agents and experiences involving prompts, reasoning, tool calls, and integrations with customer systems.
- Build and integrate data pipelines using Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, Databricks, and customer data platforms.
- Model data, validate pipeline outputs, and maintain agent performance dashboards and customer KPI reporting.
- Deliver proofs of concept and MVPs that progress rapidly from concept to deployment.
- Co-build solutions with customers and partners while providing technical enablement and best practices.
- Identify platform gaps, edge cases, and field insights for senior engineers and product teams.
- Partner with Deployment Strategists to translate customer challenges into deployable agentic solutions.
- Travel approximately 25% to work directly alongside customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 3 years of software engineering or technical delivery experience, including a production system; 6–10 years is indicated for Senior levels.
- Prior customer-facing technical delivery experience in consulting, professional services, or forward deployed engineering is required.
- Experience managing and delivering customer-facing projects in public-sector, higher-education, or nonprofit environments.
- Fluency in at least one of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs and prompt engineering, including diagnosing and improving failed prompts.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, APIs, and integration patterns.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with sales teams and customer architects.
- Experience shipping quality code and evaluating AI outputs with engineering rigor.
- Preferred qualifications include Salesforce experience or certifications, familiarity with LangChain or LlamaIndex, cloud data platform experience, and expertise in data engineering, platform architecture, or headless deployments.
