Base Salary

$262k - $364k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver improvements to the Google Compute Engine customer maintenance experience.
  • Develop the team roadmap and strategy, and identify opportunities for innovation and organizational improvement.
  • Build data and analytics systems to inform maintenance-experience decisions.
  • Advocate engineering best practices and improve team collaboration and operational processes.
  • Drive technical decision-making and ensure delivery of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software.
  • Design, develop, and deploy robust, scalable, and efficient software components for Google Cloud platforms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience programming in C++.
  • 5 years of experience with software design and architecture and testing or launching software products.
  • Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.
  • Preferred: 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
  • Preferred: 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
  • Preferred: 3 years of experience in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional or cross-business projects.

Benefits

  • US base salary of $262000-$364000, plus a 25% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
