Responsibilities
- Support existing Twilio-based sales-center tooling and lead its end-to-end migration to Genesys.
- Design and implement inbound and outbound call flows across telephony configuration, backend services, and full-stack applications.
- Build LLM and AI capabilities including call summarization, sentiment and topic detection, and automated QA.
- Use Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and custom prompts, skills, and workflows throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Implement features from architecture through deployment and observability, and participate in code and architecture reviews.
- Mentor engineers on AI-assisted development and drive adoption of new practices across the team.
Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on software development experience delivering complex production features.
- 4+ years of production-grade TypeScript, JavaScript, and Node.js experience.
- 3+ years of experience with a SaaS telephony platform such as Twilio or Genesys, including call routing, flow configuration, and integrations.
- Daily professional use of AI-assisted development tools and experience building custom skills, prompts, or workflows.
- Production experience building with or integrating Anthropic or OpenAI LLM and AI APIs.
- Deep AWS experience including Lambda, ECS, and DynamoDB, with familiarity with event-driven architecture.
- Experience with Databricks or comparable data warehousing and pipeline tooling, and familiarity with New Relic or comparable observability platforms.
- Experience mentoring engineers and driving adoption of new practices across a team.
- Working knowledge of Scrum and Agile software development methodology, plus strong technical and non-technical communication skills.
