Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, operate, and maintain software products.
- Take full-stack ownership by writing production-ready and testable code.
- Create scalable, reliable, and performant designs that follow architectural best practices.
- Analyze failures, propose design changes, and drive operational improvements.
- Conduct code reviews and provide guidance on engineering best practices and development procedures.
- Ensure product development follows compliance and security best practices.
- Apply software reliability engineering standards throughout development.
- Collaborate with engineers, product owners, scrum masters, vendors, and customers.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers while helping resolve issues and meet product goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of ten years of experience.
- Technical expertise and leadership skills sufficient to resolve issues, meet product goals, and mentor junior engineers.
- Understanding of the team’s domain, business strategy, technical strategy, algorithms, data structures, architectural design patterns, and best practices.
- Ability to define and fulfill solution requirements for end users.
- Strong communication, presentation, leadership, problem-solving, analytical, collaboration, and influencing skills.
- Ability to work with agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles.
