Responsibilities
- Lead initiatives to advance security efforts across the organization.
- Conduct complex security assessments and remediation for cloud-native applications.
- Support vulnerability management by identifying gaps and automating workflows.
- Architect and build scalable security solutions to improve efficiency.
- Develop and maintain hardening standards and monitoring mechanisms.
- Lead incident investigations and coordinate response efforts.
- Design robust detection and response capabilities for cloud environments.
- Stay current on emerging threats and translate insights into strategies.
- Mentor others to foster a culture of security awareness.
- Support security compliance maintenance through control ownership.
Requirements
- 8+ years of security engineering or equivalent experience.
- Expertise with AWS, GCP, and Cloudflare architecture and security features.
- Experience designing secure CI/CD pipelines with automated security controls.
- Proven experience in security architecture aligned with business strategies.
- Mastery in Python for building and maintaining security tools.
- Exposure to Javascript and Go for security code reviews.
- Deep knowledge of securing Kubernetes clusters and containers.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Demonstrated success in vulnerability management and incident response.
- Proficiency with authentication and authorization protocols.
