Responsibilities
- Design, code, deploy, and maintain custom web applications and automation scripts to improve operational efficiency.
- Conduct discovery sessions with internal teams, gather requirements, and present technical solutions in accessible language.
- Develop and maintain integrations between Google Workspace and BigQuery for reporting and analysis.
- Own the full software development lifecycle, including scoping, architecture, front-end and back-end development, testing, and documentation.
- Monitor application performance, debug errors, and improve tools based on user feedback and changing business needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience.
- At least 1 year of related work experience.
- Knowledge of analyzing large, complex, multidimensional datasets using SQL and of SQL query design, data validation, automation, and research functions.
- Understanding of data warehouse concepts, logical data models, structured and unstructured data, and ETL design principles using technologies such as SSIS and SSRS.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; 3 years of experience with reporting systems and application or website development; BI tool experience; programming and API knowledge; and familiarity with SuccessFactors, PeopleSoft, Kronos, SAP Payroll, Google Data Studio, Microsoft Power BI, R, SAS, and statistical or machine-learning solutions.
- Preferred candidates can complete moderately complex or multiple projects and have experience delivering usable business intelligence and data analytics solutions involving statistical modeling or machine learning.
