Responsibilities
- Qualify incoming leads, gather functional and non-functional requirements, and define technical deal strategies.
- Design Google Cloud architectures for data, machine learning, generative AI, and agentic architecture projects.
- Audit existing data and AI architectures and data models, then propose migration, modernization, optimization, and FinOps strategies.
- Develop coherent technical estimates and pricing approaches for opportunities.
- Present and defend technical proposals to business, IT, data, CTO, and CDO stakeholders.
- Serve as the group’s Google Cloud champion by maintaining technical standards, sharing best practices, enabling teams, and engaging with Google’s ecosystem.
- Support project kickoffs and align delivery teams with the defined technical strategy.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience, including experience beyond development such as Tech Lead, Architect, or Staff Engineer work.
- Expert-level mastery of the Google Cloud stack; Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Data Engineer certifications are strongly valued.
- Expertise in data platforms, architectures, modeling, and migrations and/or in classical machine learning, generative AI, and agentic architectures.
- Client-facing experience with the ability to build trust, explain technical topics clearly, challenge clients, and reframe their technical strategy.
- Experience in services or consulting is valued.
- Proficiency with AI-assisted development methods, such as Claude Code.
