Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of SOMFY’s agentic AI platform.
- Develop shared agent components for orchestration, tool calling, and context management.
- Implement agent evaluation through test sets, quality metrics, and regression monitoring.
- Understand business needs and propose appropriate AI solutions.
- Explain technical topics to non-specialist stakeholders.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of products.
Requirements
- Be a Master 2 student or in the final year of an engineering school, specializing in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, or an equivalent field.
- Have strong Python skills and knowledge of structured code, unit testing, and typing practices.
- Understand large language models and their use through APIs, including prompt engineering, context management, and function calling.
- Understand Retrieval-Augmented Generation principles.
- Use Git and collaborate on shared repositories through branches and code reviews.
- Have knowledge of SQL.
- Have English reading and writing skills for technical material.
- Knowledge of API development, such as FastAPI, and containerization with Docker is appreciated.
- Demonstrate strong communication and technical explanation skills, teamwork, curiosity, autonomy, and organizational ability.
