Responsibilities
- Build and maintain automated unit, integration, end-to-end, and regression test suites for the platform, APIs, and user interface.
- Test data-driven and AI-powered systems, including pipeline outputs, data quality, layer contracts, AI recommendations, and write-backs.
- Embed automated testing into CI/CD processes.
- Design test plans for customer deployments, internal dogfooding, and joint customer testing before go-live.
- Test customer-system integrations and write-backs for correctness, idempotency, error handling, and auditability.
- Diagnose, reproduce, track, and resolve issues while identifying root causes.
- Partner with developers in design and code reviews to improve testability and maintainability.
- Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly and review generated code before release.
- Advocate for software quality across development, deployment, and monitoring environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in QA, test automation, or software development.
- Programming experience in at least one of Python, Java, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of unit, integration, system, and acceptance testing methods.
- Experience with at least one of PyTest, JUnit, Jest, Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium through work, school, or personal projects.
- Understanding of algorithms, data structures, and distributed-system failure modes.
- Ability to work in person from the Bellevue headquarters and participate in on-call rotations.
- Experience with CI/CD systems, cloud platforms, API testing, performance testing, or security testing is a plus.
- Experience testing data pipelines or AI-powered features, or knowledge of ERP, WMS, or TMS supply chain systems, is a plus.
