Responsibilities
- Design and develop custom software applications.
- Perform coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting throughout the application-development process.
- Contribute independently and collaboratively to moderately complex projects or products.
- Follow coding standards and technical designs.
- Direct the work of other software engineers when needed.
- Travel up to 15% as required.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of professional experience designing and developing software applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience.
- At least 7 years of .NET experience and proficiency with C#, the Microsoft .NET Framework, and object-oriented programming.
- Experience with Windows Services, Microsoft Entity Framework, dependency injection, extensibility concepts, Web APIs, SQL, LINQ, Microsoft SQL Server, TCP/IP, .NET Framework, and .NET Core.
- Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft Azure/DevOps, Git, source control, bug tracking, Microsoft SQL Management Studio, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft Office.
- Experience designing and developing web-based systems and client/server applications.
- Experience with software development lifecycle methodology.
- Automated material-handling industry experience.
- Strong troubleshooting, written and verbal communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
- Must be able to speak, read, and understand English.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
