Responsibilities
- Design, develop, refine, prototype, and test applications, dashboards, and tools for the ICE software platform.
- Work on a project under a mentor’s direction and collaborate with data and software engineers.
- Collaborate with subject-matter experts, architects, product managers, management, and customers to demonstrate design concepts and product ideas.
- Provide regular updates on project progress, problems, and solutions.
- Document findings and present completed work to the team at the end of the term.
Requirements
- Be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or an equivalent program, typically in the third year or later.
- Have experience with strongly typed languages such as C++, Java, or C# and with HTML/JavaScript variants.
- Demonstrate strong documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Preferred qualifications include a public GitHub profile or Stack Overflow contributions, interest in medical devices and healthcare, familiarity with agile software development practices, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
