Responsibilities

Assist in developing and maintaining embedded firmware in C for IoT gateway products.
Work with microcontrollers, memory, interrupts, peripherals, and communication interfaces including UART, SPI, I²C, and Ethernet.
Support debugging, testing, and validation of firmware features.
Research PLC fundamentals, architectures, programming models, standards, vendors, tools, and ecosystem approaches.
Investigate PLC-to-IoT gateway integration using Modbus, OPC UA, and industrial Ethernet protocols.
Build proof-of-concept integrations and demo applications connecting PLC data to embedded systems, IoT gateways, and cloud services.
Test interoperability with real or simulated PLC environments.
Document findings for the firmware team through technical notes, diagrams, and demos.

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, Embedded Systems, or a related field.
Programming foundation in C.
Basic understanding of embedded-systems concepts including microcontrollers, memory, interrupts, and peripherals.
Academic exposure to industrial automation or control systems.
Hands-on experience or coursework in PLC programming is preferred.
Knowledge of Ladder Logic, Structured Text, Function Block Diagram, and industrial communication protocols is preferred.
