Responsibilities

  • Lead AS-IS assessments, business and non-functional requirements gathering, target architecture design, and transformation roadmaps for AI and data platforms.
  • Design and deliver end-to-end AI, GenAI, and agentic solutions, including RAG pipelines, agent orchestration, LLM/SLM integration, MLOps/LLMOps, observability, guardrails, and control mechanisms.
  • Define cloud data architectures including lakehouse, medallion, data product, data mesh, semantic-layer, and vector-store patterns.
  • Lead build-versus-buy evaluations, software selection, proofs of concept, architecture decision records, and trade-off analysis across cost, scalability, and security.
  • Embed security, data governance, privacy, Responsible AI, GDPR, and EU AI Act requirements into solution designs.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary AI and data delivery teams while managing quality, timelines, and budgets.
  • Support propositions, offers, RFP responses, effort estimates, work plans, demonstrations, and relationships with technology alliance partners.
  • Develop EY AI and data assets and mentor junior colleagues through coaching and professional development.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or a related discipline.
  • At least 8–10 years of experience in Data and AI, including significant experience in Solution or Enterprise Architecture and team coordination, preferably in consulting.
  • Proven experience designing and deploying machine learning and GenAI solutions in enterprise environments.
  • Strong knowledge of at least one hyperscaler—Azure, AWS, or GCP—and major data platforms including Databricks, Snowflake, and Microsoft Fabric.
  • Proficiency with integration patterns, API and event-streaming approaches, ETL/ELT pipelines, data modeling, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Knowledge of data governance and catalog tools such as Unity Catalog, Microsoft Purview, and Collibra.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, including communication with C-level stakeholders and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Cloud or architecture certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Databricks, or TOGAF are a plus.
  • Experience with AI governance frameworks such as ISO/IEC 42001 or NIST AI RMF is a plus.
  • Experience in regulated sectors or large-scale data-centric transformation programs is a plus.
