Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and create technical specifications and application designs.
- Develop, maintain, document, test, and quality-assure scalable software applications and tools.
- Resolve bugs, optimize code, review application performance, and address bottlenecks.
- Work with business teams, product managers, stakeholders, architects, database administrators, and cybersecurity teams to deliver application functionality.
- Coordinate with frontend, technology, and development teams on user experience and application integration.
- Maintain code repository updates, logging, workflows, troubleshooting documentation, and development priorities.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience as a software developer using the required technologies.
- Strong development experience building scalable applications with Core Python.
- Hands-on experience with Python web frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Solid SQL skills, including the ability to perform data analytics tasks and queries.
- Experience with JavaScript technologies, preferably React.
- Familiarity with Azure Databricks, including PySpark, notebooks, repository integration, job workflows, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog.
- Experience with Azure and interconnected Azure components such as Functions, App Service, and Containers.
- Financial services experience, ideally in Risk Technology, is preferred.
