Responsibilities
- Support engineering teams with self-service tools for provisioning, building, testing, and deploying applications.
- Improve system reliability, security, and scalability through automation and DevOps practices.
- Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD.
- Work across AWS cloud infrastructure, networking, system administration, and security.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code and environment automation.
- Drive operational excellence through monitoring, logging, and process improvements.
- Partner with engineering teams to streamline infrastructure, deployment workflows, and developer experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
- 5+ years of experience with software or scripting using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or Ruby.
- 5+ years of experience with system administration across Linux or Windows.
- 5+ years of experience with infrastructure, networking, or security.
- Strong knowledge of AWS cloud platforms.
- Experience with automation and infrastructure-as-code.
- Ability to collaborate with engineering teams and improve delivery workflows.
- Hands-on experience with Ansible for configuration management is preferred.
- Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure-as-code is preferred.
- Understanding of code deployment strategies, tagging, and release processes.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals including DNS, VPNs, load balancing, and firewalls.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab.
