Responsibilities
- Build and maintain automated Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
- Support automation testing activities to improve application deployment efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop and implement integrated and automated DevSecOps capabilities.
- Deploy applications on AWS and GCP platforms.
- Support operations activities related to application availability and performance.
- Drive automation initiatives and continuous improvement across the environment.
- Provide guidance and support to business and application delivery teams using cloud technology.
- Manage and secure public-facing web infrastructure.
- Resolve operational incidents and problems and participate in crisis calls.
- Work with scaled Agile development and delivery teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a relevant field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 3–6 years of DevOps experience and 8+ years of overall IT industry experience as stated in the posting.
- Experience with hosting, integration, storage, networks, and DevOps automation engineering.
- Strong programming experience in Ruby, Python, or JavaScript.
- Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, OpenShift, or AWS ECS.
- Strong experience configuring Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with AWS, CDK, CloudOps, GitHub, Jenkins, SonarQube, Checkmarx, Terraform, and CloudFormation.
- Experience with Puppet, Chef, or Ansible for automated configuration management.
- Experience with Splunk, ELK Stack, Graylog, or similar logging and event-management tools.
- Experience with backup and recovery procedures, data storage, and retention requirements.
- Hands-on experience with Linux and shell scripting.
- Experience with Docker, Podman, or Singularity.
- Experience operating large-scale, high-volume, highly available cloud systems using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with APM tools, CDNs, or WAFs is an added qualification.
- Experience working in Agile delivery teams, projects, or programs.
- Advanced English is required; German knowledge is an advantage.
- Ability to handle work from demand management through testing and support, challenge client needs, and provide appropriate solutions.
- Must be eligible for security clearance by recognized authorities.
