Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain features that help users connect through gaming.
- Engage with developers and partners to enhance player experiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create fun and trusted user experiences.
- Partner with marketing and ML teams to improve content discovery.
- Build features that foster new friendships and deepen existing ones.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience as a software engineer.
- Experience with React/TS, Python, or other modern programming languages.
- Comfortable switching between different technical stacks.
- Enjoy collaborating with product, design, and other stakeholders.
- Holistic approach to problem-solving and learning from mistakes.
- Experience leading projects and mentoring others.
- A passion for improving the Discord product.
