Responsibilities
- Build and maintain high-performance online services for TikTok recommendation systems.
- Develop reliable data pipelines for candidate generation, profile generation, training example generation, and real-time online training.
- Build large-scale globalized recommendation systems.
- Design and develop high-performance computing frameworks and storage systems.
- Research, design, and develop computer and network software and specialized utility programs.
- Analyze user needs and develop software solutions using computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis principles.
- Update software, enhance existing capabilities, and develop software testing and validation procedures.
- Integrate hardware and software systems with computer hardware engineers and develop specifications and performance requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience building scalable systems.
- Programming experience in at least one of C, C++, Java, or Golang.
- Effective communication skills, ownership, and drive.
- Experience in e-commerce-related areas is preferred.
- Experience with personalized recommendations, search engines, machine learning, distributed storage systems, or big data frameworks is preferred.
