Responsibilities

  • Participate in low- to moderately complex technology initiatives and projects, including installations, upgrades, and deployments.
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document software for technology projects and programs.
  • Assess legacy-to-target data mappings and resolve data conversion, reconciliation, and data accuracy issues.
  • Trace data flows, analyze data lineage and business rules, and investigate upstream/downstream dependencies across complex data ecosystems.
  • Identify opportunities to improve service quality and availability.
  • Review technical challenges, evaluate alternative technology solutions, and present recommendations or escalate issues as needed.
  • Provide information to technology colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders.
  • Follow applicable security, compliance, risk, governance, monitoring, and escalation requirements.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of software engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • Python certification.
  • Demonstrated Power BI experience.
  • Azure AZ900 or similar cloud fundamentals certification.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently investigate and resolve data issues.
  • Experience with data flows, data lineage, business rules, system linkages, and root-cause analysis across complex data ecosystems.
  • PySpark and Spark-based data processing experience is preferred.
  • Python development and automation experience is preferred.
  • Microsoft SQL Server and advanced SQL experience is preferred.
