Base Salary
$123k - $174k/yr
Responsibilities
- Conduct information-security reviews of infrastructure and service designs.
- Recommend design changes addressing access, abuse, logging, and future security concerns.
- Investigate incidents and logs to measure impact and identify indicators of compromise.
- Develop, test, and deploy strategies for detecting abuse of Platforms and Devices services.
- Participate in periodic on-call rotation within the incident management program.
- Partner with engineering and product teams to reduce overall security risk.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 1 year of experience with security assessments, security design reviews, or threat modeling.
- At least 1 year of coding experience in one or more general-purpose languages.
- Experience with security engineering, computer and network security, and security protocols.
- Preferred: 2 years of experience querying and analyzing terabyte-scale datasets in SQL.
- Preferred: 2 years of experience with highly available, cloud-based infrastructure.
- Preferred: proficiency in Linux shell scripting.
