Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain production systems to ensure availability and performance.
- Respond to incidents, provide technical support, and resolve issues within SLAs.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions to prevent recurring incidents.
- Support Java/.NET payment applications, MongoDB and SQL databases, deployments, health checks, and performance optimization.
- Manage Azure cloud integration, deployment, infrastructure issues, security measures, and resource-cost optimization.
- Develop automation scripts for incident resolution, system monitoring, and system management.
- Follow and improve ITIL Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.
- Collaborate with development, QA, infrastructure teams, external vendors, and service providers.
- Coordinate communications and stakeholder updates during high-severity incidents.
- Maintain incident, problem, change, resolution, and technical documentation records and generate service-performance reports.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of production support experience focused on databases, Java/.NET applications, cloud technologies, and ITIL processes.
- Experience with MongoDB and SQL, including queries, stored procedures, and stored-procedure debugging.
- Knowledge of Java or .NET for production application support.
- Hands-on experience with a major cloud platform, preferably Azure, and cloud infrastructure management.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with ITIL Incident Management and Problem Management.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools, logging, and incident tracking systems.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell is preferred.
- Cloud certifications and ITIL Foundation or higher certification are preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, leadership, mentoring, and high-severity incident management skills.
