Base Salary

$100k - $135k/yr

Responsibilities

Develop software in the LabVIEW programming environment for sensor acquisition and actuator control systems.
Design, develop, document, test, and debug application software and systems containing logical and mathematical solutions for ship and submarine research.
Collaborate with equipment designers and hardware engineers on the planning, design, development, and use of National Instruments data acquisition modules and LabVIEW software.
Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine design feasibility within time and cost constraints.
Conduct Independent Verification and Validation of existing LabVIEW software at the customer site in West Bethesda, Maryland.
Test software with actual system hardware and document test results.
Travel less than 5% to customer test sites for software installation, checkout, operation, and troubleshooting.

A bachelor's degree in engineering, science, computer science, applied mathematics, or a closely related field.
At least 3 years of demonstrated experience developing LabVIEW software.
Active Secret clearance is desired, or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
U.S. citizenship is required to obtain or hold a U.S. security clearance.
