Base Salary
$100k - $135k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop software in the LabVIEW programming environment for sensor acquisition and actuator control systems.
- Design, develop, document, test, and debug application software and systems containing logical and mathematical solutions for ship and submarine research.
- Collaborate with equipment designers and hardware engineers on the planning, design, development, and use of National Instruments data acquisition modules and LabVIEW software.
- Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine design feasibility within time and cost constraints.
- Conduct Independent Verification and Validation of existing LabVIEW software at the customer site in West Bethesda, Maryland.
- Test software with actual system hardware and document test results.
- Travel less than 5% to customer test sites for software installation, checkout, operation, and troubleshooting.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, science, computer science, applied mathematics, or a closely related field.
- At least 3 years of demonstrated experience developing LabVIEW software.
- Active Secret clearance is desired, or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- U.S. citizenship is required to obtain or hold a U.S. security clearance.
