Base Salary
$81k - $187k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, write, and deploy software and automation to improve service availability, scalability, efficiency, and continuous delivery.
- Serve as an escalation point for junior SREs during complex or high-impact incidents and provide mentorship and training.
- Execute complex change-management tickets and ensure new services and tools are operationally ready and properly integrated.
- Drive automation to reduce manual work and operational toil while maintaining continuous availability.
- Troubleshoot large, interconnected systems and resolve incidents, service requests, alarms, and change requests.
- Support capacity planning, demand forecasting, performance analysis, system tuning, monitoring, production architecture, and scalability design.
- Create and maintain operational documentation, change-management practices, continuous-integration and deployment practices, and realm-compliance changes.
- Collaborate with customer support, service owners, and global service and engineering teams.
- Deploy and maintain AI infrastructure including clustered GPUs and LLMs, and support model integration for customer solutions.
Requirements
- US citizenship and possession and maintenance of a TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph are required; the candidate must reside in Austin, Texas, or Reston, Virginia.
- A technology-related bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required.
- Proficiency writing services and task automation in Python, Bash, Ruby, Perl, JavaScript, or Java is required.
- Experience with Linux/Unix systems, host-based networking, core protocols, cloud computing, monitoring solutions, configuration management, and mission-critical operations is required.
- Experience executing change-management procedures, resolving automated and manual alarms using runbooks, and working with large-scale environments is required.
- Experience deploying AI infrastructure with clustered GPUs and LLM deployment and maintenance is required.
- Strong communication, organization, learning, customer-service, and knowledge-sharing skills are expected.

- US hiring range is $81,100 to $187,000 per year, with possible bonus and equity eligibility.
