Responsibilities
- Lead design and architecture for major features or components in alignment with broader system architecture
- Independently determine approaches for complex and ambiguous assignments
- Partner with Engineering, Product, and UX teams to shape solutions before implementation
- Build technical credibility and working relationships beyond the immediate team
- Establish and champion engineering best practices across the team and broader organization
- Mentor senior and mid-level engineers and help expand their technical judgment and ownership
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Track record of leading technical initiatives spanning multiple engineers or systems
- Deep expertise in relevant frontend and/or backend technologies, including cloud architecture experience
- Professional hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Devin, Windsurf, or similar
