Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement scalable AI and machine learning solutions from concept through production deployment.
- Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into customer-focused solutions.
- Build and optimise cloud-native applications, APIs, and automation services using generative AI, large language models, and advanced analytics.
- Contribute to code reviews, testing, DevOps practices, and continuous improvement to deliver secure, reliable, and maintainable software.
- Work with structured and unstructured data and integrate AI capabilities into end-to-end software solutions.
Requirements
- Experience developing software applications using Python, Java, C#, or similar modern programming languages.
- Experience building, integrating, or deploying AI, machine learning, or generative AI solutions in a commercial or enterprise environment.
- Knowledge of machine learning frameworks and tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, or LangChain.
- Experience with Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, or comparable cloud platforms and knowledge of cloud-native architecture principles.
- Ability to design and consume APIs and apply software engineering practices including version control, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and secure coding.
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and collaborative delivery skills.
- Advantageous experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, vector databases, AI agent frameworks, MLOps, model monitoring, or AI governance.
- Advantageous experience with Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning, Docker, or Kubernetes.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related discipline are advantageous.
- Must be an Australian citizen and hold an active TSPV security clearance.
