Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and support web-based and distributed applications.
- Translate complex business requirements into functional, technical, and system specifications and designs.
- Collaborate with product leads and cross-functional teams to identify, estimate, design, implement, and test technical requirements.
- Develop and maintain multi-tier Python applications supporting AI and cybersecurity controls.
- Test, analyze, debug, and troubleshoot software designs and solutions.
- Communicate with technology product leads about improvements to current and future solutions.
- Guide junior staff and initiatives while managing multiple functions.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of relevant experience, including 6–8 years as an application developer developing multi-tier Python applications.
- Understanding of machine learning concepts, model training, and evaluation.
- Familiarity with Generative AI architectures, transformers, and large language models such as GPT.
- Experience with APIs, including OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, and RESTful services.
- Experience with PyTorch, LangChain, Microsoft Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of secure coding, data privacy, and adversarial attack vectors.
- Ability to query relational databases including DB2 and Sybase, as well as cloud data sources such as Snowflake.
- Experience with SOAP and REST web services using XML and JSON data.
- Experience with Jupyter, Visual Studio Code, Maven, Gradle, Git, Jenkins, CI tools, and Sonar.
- Experience developing service-oriented architecture applications.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum, Test-Driven Development, and Behavior-Driven Development.
- Strong problem-solving, written and verbal communication, collaboration, and cross-functional coordination skills.
