Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end architecture for mission-critical products and services.
- Define architectural principles, frameworks, and standards for enterprise scalability and reliability.
- Translate complex business and technology challenges into technical roadmaps and long-range product strategy.
- Integrate AI components into the platform and develop proof-of-concepts to validate architectural patterns.
- Mentor engineers across a large organization and foster cross-functional technical discussion.
- Champion continuous improvement in platform reliability and participate in the on-call rotation.
- Prepare and present strategic technical reports to executive leadership and external audiences.
Requirements
- 15+ years of hands-on software development experience, with 20+ years preferred.
- Proven experience designing, building, and delivering large, complex, enterprise-grade distributed systems.
- Deep expertise in backend technologies and cloud-native platforms across AWS, GCP, and Alibaba Cloud.
- Experience setting long-term design strategies across multiple complex projects.
- Experience independently delivering strategic technical reports and presentations to executive audiences.
- Experience working on publicly released, multi-release products using Agile methodologies such as Scrum.
- Strong informal mentorship experience and a record of developing engineering talent.
- Preferred experience with Alibaba Cloud in addition to AWS and GCP.
- Preferred hands-on experience with Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or Cursor.
- Preferred advanced prompt engineering and system-context design experience for production-ready AI outputs.
