Responsibilities
- Drive the technical vision and execution for complex security policy and access solutions.
- Architect and develop scalable systems software using C, C++, and Java.
- Provide technical leadership, mentor engineering teams, and guide architectural decisions.
- Develop software architectures and advance software programmability.
- Implement automation and orchestration within the software development lifecycle.
- Promote secure, programmable, reliable, and high-performing network access solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners and articulate design choices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 8+ years of software engineering experience in systems programming with complex codebases using C, C++, or Java.
- 3+ years of experience providing technical leadership and mentoring engineering teams.
- Experience with software programmability and developing scalable software architectures.
- Experience implementing automation and orchestration within the software development lifecycle.
- Preferred: understanding of network security, certificate validation, and threat modeling.
- Preferred: hands-on experience with cryptography, TLS internals, or Post Quantum Cryptography (PQC).
- Preferred: hands-on experience with AI coding and understanding of modern attack methods.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate design choices to cross-functional partners.
