Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient workloads on Microsoft Azure.
- Provision and change infrastructure exclusively through infrastructure as code and configuration as code.
- Reverse engineer inherited applications and infrastructure, including components, dependencies, integrations, and data flows.
- Build, evaluate, and harden agentic AI solutions that automate platform, delivery, and operations toil.
- Maintain Azure cloud organization, Azure Landing Zone architecture, Azure Well-Architected Framework standards, and enterprise policy governance.
- Implement security and compliance controls, including least-privilege access, secrets handling, policy-as-code guardrails, and audit evidence.
- Analyze cloud architectures and recommend improvements for cost efficiency, scalability, resiliency, and performance.
- Create high-quality technical diagrams, documentation, and transparent handoffs for technical and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of agentic AI concepts, including agents and tool use, orchestration, context and retrieval, evaluation, guardrails, and limitations.
- Demonstrated ability to reverse engineer unfamiliar application architectures and trace infrastructure dependencies and data flows.
- Working fluency in infrastructure as code and configuration as code, with Terraform and Ansible identified as standard tools.
- Strong Azure platform expertise, including Azure Landing Zones, the Azure Well-Architected Framework, and enterprise policy governance.
- Proficiency with Azure Portal/CLI, Azure Advisor, Azure Policy, Azure Resource Graph, and VS Code.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills and the ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Preferred experience applying agentic AI concepts through professional, personal, academic, or other relevant initiatives.
- Preferred proficiency in an automation or tooling language such as Python, Go, PowerShell, C#, or Bash.
- Preferred experience in regulated environments such as healthcare, HIPAA, or SOC 2.
- Relevant Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, AI-500, or AB-100 are preferred; ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity is also preferred.
- Must complete identity verification, background check, in-person I-9 verification, and potentially drug screening; artificial intelligence tools are prohibited during interviews.
