Base Salary
$124k - $196k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and optimize software for next-generation SoCs during pre-silicon and post-silicon phases.
- Analyze SoC performance bottlenecks and optimize complex system software stacks.
- Prepare technical analysis documents and communicate technology findings to internal and external audiences.
- Perform competitive analysis of microarchitecture and workload performance on NVIDIA ARM SoCs versus processors from other silicon vendors.
- Develop tools and use benchmarks to analyze performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of relevant computer architecture or software-development experience.
- Hands-on technical experience with complex software and hardware designs.
- Strong understanding of multicore hardware, operating-system design, concurrency, virtual memory, caching, interrupts, device drivers, and real-time programming.
- Experience with performance analysis, data analysis, and performance optimization.
- Preferred qualifications include ARM architecture and software-ecosystem expertise, complex system-software performance debugging and tuning, CPU server workload analysis, CUDA or GPU programming, and HPC or large-scale computing experience.
