Base Salary
$141k - $231k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement core backend service features for Nexus.
- Own distributed systems components including durable execution and asynchronous processing.
- Develop unit, integration, and performance test coverage for owned features.
- Document design decisions and operational knowledge for deployment and service operation.
- Implement service-level logging and metrics for cloud service setups.
- Create production alerts, dashboards, and runbooks.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of production experience building or enhancing highly scalable distributed systems.
- Strong computer science fundamentals in distributed systems, multithreading, and concurrency.
- At least 2 years of experience developing customer-facing APIs and frameworks.
- Production experience writing concurrent code in Go, Java, or another applicable language at a high-end intermediate, advanced, or expert level.
