Base Salary
$80k - $105k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write and maintain test cases covering happy paths and obvious edge cases for assigned features.
- Own testing for small features and bugs and deliver scoped work on time with limited supervision.
- Develop and maintain automated Playwright end-to-end and API-level tests.
- Investigate flaky tests and keep assigned portions of the test suite stable.
- Perform exploratory testing and create clear, reproducible bug reports.
- Use AI tools to draft test cases, automation, and selectors while reviewing and correcting unsafe or inaccurate output.
- Use only synthetic test data and protect patient information in all test artifacts.
- Provide concise code and test reviews and constructive feedback to teammates.
Requirements
- Roughly 1–2 years of experience in software quality, testing, or test automation.
- Programming or scripting ability in at least one of TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, or C#.
- Experience writing and maintaining automated tests, ideally with Playwright or comparable UI and API testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with Git, running test suites, and basic independent debugging.
- Experience using AI coding assistants such as Claude Code or Codex and reviewing their output critically.
- Clear communication skills, including writing bug reports, giving useful reviews, and explaining work.
- Demonstrated ability to complete scoped work on time with limited supervision.
- Genuine interest in healthcare and protecting patients using the platform.
