Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Dynatrace and Cribl observability platforms, including log management and analytics functions.
- Develop dashboards, alerts, reports, and custom monitoring solutions using Dynatrace Query Language and Dynatrace Pattern Language.
- Build and support ingestion pipelines for logs, metrics, traces, and events from AWS, Alibaba, OCI, and on-premises environments.
- Establish observability standards, governance, and best practices to improve platform adoption, reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Provide technical guidance, training, and support to engineering and operations teams.
- Integrate observability tools with ServiceNow, BigPanda, and other IT Operations platforms.
- Automate operational tasks, monitoring workflows, and reporting processes using PowerShell and Python.
- Support deployment activities and develop Infrastructure-as-Code and Configuration-as-Code solutions using Git, Harness, Terraform, and related tools.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to address observability requirements and build solutions.
- Create technical documentation, operational runbooks, and knowledge articles.
- Evaluate emerging observability, automation, AI, and AIOps technologies.
- Act as an SME, coordinate cross-functional efforts, make team decisions, solve problems across teams, and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in Dynatrace Administration.
- Proficiency in Dynatrace Administration and experience monitoring and troubleshooting application performance with Dynatrace tools.
- Strong understanding of system architecture and integration points in complex IT environments.
- Ability to analyze logs, metrics, and traces to diagnose and resolve issues.
- Familiarity with incident management and root cause analysis methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Minimum 15 years of full-time education.
- Experience coordinating multiple teams, making technical decisions, and providing solutions across teams is expected.
