Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines for repeatable software delivery.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, deployment, and operational tasks using Infrastructure as Code.
- Support cloud platform operations, including environment setup, scaling, monitoring, deployment automation, and incident resolution.
- Define deployment strategies, release processes, branching models, and environment management practices.
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions to improve reliability and operational visibility.
- Support containerized and cloud-native workloads, including orchestration and runtime configuration.
- Troubleshoot build, deployment, infrastructure, and production issues across application and operational layers.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, security teams, and project managers throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
- Maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, deployment procedures, and platform standards.
- Promote automation-first DevOps practices and continuous improvement across delivery teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Ten to twelve or more years of overall technical experience.
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or similar in software delivery environments.
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools and practices such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or equivalent.
- Practical knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, Ansible, or similar.
- Good understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, containerization, and orchestration.
- Experience scripting and automating with Bash, PowerShell, Python, or similar languages.
- Understanding of networking, security, identity, secrets management, and cloud governance principles.
- Familiarity with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar monitoring and observability tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across application, infrastructure, and deployment layers.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are appreciated.
- Experience with Agile delivery environments is an advantage.
- Preferred qualifications include DevSecOps, security scanning, dependency checks, policy-as-code, secure release gates, microservices, APIs, event-driven systems, cloud-native architectures, ITIL, incident management, change management, production support, enterprise architecture, and regulated delivery environments.
