Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines for repeatable software delivery.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, deployment, and operational tasks using Infrastructure as Code.
- Operate cloud environments, including setup, deployment automation, scaling, monitoring, and incident resolution.
- Define deployment strategies, release processes, branching models, and environment management practices.
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions.
- Support containerized and cloud-native workloads, orchestration, runtime configuration, and deployment automation.
- Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, build, deployment, and production issues.
- Ensure DevOps practices align with enterprise architecture, security, cloud, and operational standards.
- Document pipelines, environments, deployment procedures, runbooks, and platform standards.
- Promote automation-first practices and continuous improvement across delivery teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Ten to twelve-plus years of overall technical experience.
- Professional experience as a DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or similar.
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools and practices, including Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or equivalent.
- Practical knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, Ansible, or similar Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, scripting, automation, networking, security, identity, secrets management, and cloud governance.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across application, infrastructure, and deployment layers.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Preferred experience with Azure DevOps, Microsoft Azure cloud services, DevSecOps practices, security scanning, dependency checks, policy-as-code, secure release gates, cloud-native architectures, ITIL, incident management, change management, production support, enterprise architecture standards, and regulated delivery environments.
