Base Salary
$110k - $130k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, document, test, and debug software and systems for aircraft autopilots and associated avionics.
- Collaborate with systems, aerospace, and electrical engineers to define system capabilities, requirements, limitations, performance, and interfaces.
- Integrate hardware and software in a System Integration Lab.
- Participate in ground and flight testing of autopilot and avionics systems.
- Develop C/C++ software using the Qt framework in a hard real-time environment.
- Develop avionics software in accordance with DO-178C and ensure compliance with AS9100D software standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science is required; a master's degree is preferred.
- At least 6 years of work experience with C/C++ and Qt.
- At least 3 years of related experience in aircraft avionics.
- At least 1 year of experience with a Real Time Operating System.
- Active DoD Secret security clearance.
