Responsibilities
- Investigate and develop algorithms for 3D measurement.
- Modularize algorithms and numerical computation software.
- Conduct simulation studies and evaluations using actual equipment.
- Optimize parameters and make minor algorithm changes.
- Develop new 3D functions, including new algorithm investigations.
- Improve 3D measurement performance by considering the entire measurement system.
- Evaluate product performance.
Requirements
- University-level education or above is required.
- Native-level Japanese proficiency is required.
- English proficiency of at least TOEIC 500 is required.
- Knowledge of image processing is required.
- Software development experience involving numerical computation in at least two of C, C++, C#, and Python is required.
- Experience investigating and implementing algorithms is preferred.
- Experience developing computer-vision software using tools such as OpenCV is preferred.
- Two or more years of relevant software development experience is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of optical theory, including reflection, refraction, and interference, is preferred.
- Experience with algorithms for SLAM, 3D reconstruction, or 3D point-cloud processing is preferred.
- Experience evaluating 2D/3D measurement performance is preferred.
- English communication ability of at least TOEIC 650 is preferred.
