Responsibilities
- Scope and design Appian solutions with senior leaders to meet client business needs.
- Lead scrum teams delivering software solutions on schedule.
- Develop software as part of a software delivery team.
- Mentor junior Appian developers and maintain technical knowledge.
- Perform requirement discovery, data modeling, and design and build BPM applications.
- Conduct detailed code reviews, identify logic errors, recommend refactoring, and influence coding guidelines.
- Design small-scale architectures involving plugins, external systems, and APIs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as software engineering, engineering, or computer science.
- At least 2 years of experience leading software development teams implementing Appian.
- 4–6 years of experience working on software development engagements, preferably with Appian.
- Experience with databases and system integration.
- Advanced database knowledge including tables, views, stored procedures, triggers, functions, and explain plans.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Preferred qualifications include Appian Level 2 certification, Scrum training, SQL, performance tools, automation testing, mentorship skills, and experience with requirements discovery, data modeling, BPM applications, plugins, external systems, and APIs.
