Base Salary
$119k - $198k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop Python-based machine-learning components that help users assess, understand, and improve spatial data quality.
- Design, develop, test, and integrate AI/ML algorithms into product releases.
- Build scalable ML pipelines and data engineering processes to improve system architecture.
- Develop robust, production-ready software using standard design patterns and deployment models.
- Collaborate with product engineers, researchers, Professional Services teams, domain experts, and technical specialists.
- Participate in an Agile Scrum team and iterative development cycles.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar role focused on Python, machine learning, or AI systems.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented principles, software architecture, and API design.
- Ability to analyze software and algorithms and identify improvements.
- Experience developing software with Python, ML frameworks, and RAG systems.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, or a STEM-related field.
- Familiarity with C++ in large-scale or performance-critical software environments is beneficial.
- Experience analyzing large geospatial datasets and working with vector databases is preferred.
- Knowledge of ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise, and enterprise geodatabases is preferred.
- Experience developing REST-based services and cloud deployment patterns is preferred.
- Understanding of AI concepts, model evaluation, and agentic workflows is preferred.
- A master's degree in computer science, mathematics, or a STEM-related field is preferred.
