Base Salary
$153k - $218k/yr
Responsibilities
- Work cross-functionally with platform architecture, silicon validation, product engineering, hardware/software teams, and vendors.
- Design, develop, and maintain application and hardware abstraction layer software, drivers, and test programs.
- Develop silicon characterization algorithms, diagnostic routines, and performance measurement tools.
- Develop libraries that communicate with hardware, host computers, or mobile devices.
- Use stress, unit, regression, and integration testing for software changes.
- Monitor and analyze software system performance in real time using data visualization tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- One year of experience in the offered job or a related occupation.
- One year of experience using C++ or C to develop multithreaded software for hardware systems.
- One year of experience using Python for scripting and automation tools.
- One year of experience using GitLab or Perforce for source code management and version control.
- One year of experience using Jenkins or GitLab to develop continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
- One year of experience using Splunk for software system performance monitoring and real-time analysis.
- One year of experience with NoSQL and SQL databases, including Oracle, MongoDB, and MySQL, as well as data modeling.
