Responsibilities
- Support application and system implementation, administration, and operation in test environments.
- Contribute to technical architecture and infrastructure definition and implementation.
- Support application deployments and system/application management activities.
- Monitor systems and services, troubleshoot issues, and assist with root cause analysis.
- Automate recurring operational tasks using scripting and automation tools.
- Support containerized environments and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to understand technical and business requirements.
- Develop procedures and improvements to prevent outages and reduce their severity.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
- Continuously develop technical knowledge and stay current with relevant technologies and practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Maximum 2 years of prior experience in application and/or system management.
- Strong Linux command-line knowledge.
- Basic knowledge of Python and Bash scripting.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, ECS, or EKS.
- Operational understanding of monitoring tools and frameworks such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Nagios.
- Understanding of SDLC processes and testing frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking technologies.
- Knowledge of application deployment processes and common application-layer security vulnerabilities.
- Troubleshooting, root cause analysis, communication, learning, and technical documentation skills.
- Application administration experience with WebLogic, NGINX, Tomcat, or IIS is advantageous.
- Experience with Oracle OSB, Oracle SOA Suite, or IBM DataPower is a strong plus.
