Base Salary
$131k - $192k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build agentic systems that accelerate ML development across DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo.
- Design infrastructure that enables agents to propose, run, and evaluate modeling experiments.
- Develop agentic developer support for training jobs, pipeline debugging, model deployment review, and ML platform navigation.
- Build evaluation and observability systems for agent behavior, including regression detection and trust measurement.
- Implement production reliability, safety guardrails, monitoring, cost controls, and operational playbooks.
- Partner with ML engineers, data scientists, and platform teams to turn workflows into reusable platform capabilities.
- Own well-scoped components end to end from design through production.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of industry software engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience building production ML infrastructure, such as feature stores, ML data pipelines, training and experimentation platforms, model evaluation, deployment, serving, inference, or monitoring.
- Strong backend engineering fundamentals, especially in Python and distributed systems.
- Experience operating production systems, including testing, observability, debugging, and reliability.
- Understanding of ML engineer and data scientist workflows and experience building platforms, tools, or services that improve their productivity.
- Ability to take ambiguous, well-scoped problems from idea to production and learn quickly.
- Proficiency with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor across the software development lifecycle.
- Preferred experience with LLM-powered applications or AI agents, tool use, orchestration, or MCP servers.
- Preferred experience with agent evaluation, LLM observability, tracing, or evaluation harnesses.
- Preferred experience with ML platforms or MLOps tools such as Kubeflow, MLflow, Ray, or Airflow.
- Preferred experience with Kubernetes, AWS, or GCP cloud infrastructure.
- Preferred experience building developer tools, internal platforms, self-serve infrastructure, or LLM guardrails and cost controls.
