Responsibilities

  • Identify customer initiatives and business challenges and map them to appropriate Cloudflare solutions.
  • Build technical champions and strong relationships within enterprise customer accounts.
  • Lead demonstrations and proof-of-concept activities for prospects and customers.
  • Develop and present tailored customer presentations for audiences at all organizational levels.
  • Partner with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide technical sales support.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and demos explaining Cloudflare products and services.
  • Run proof-of-concept trials for customers.
  • Create professional content such as white papers and blog posts to share Cloudflare expertise.
  • Represent and evangelize Cloudflare at developer, community, technology, cybersecurity, and industry events.
  • Apply vertical knowledge and domain expertise to advise customers on best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • At least five years of pre-sales experience.
  • Customer-facing technical experience, such as Solutions Engineering, with exposure to CDN, security, networking, or SaaS technologies.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and activities concurrently.
  • Knowledge of customer network and application designs, including hybrid environments using Azure, AWS, and GCP, is desirable.
  • Understanding of application and network security, SaaS environments, VPN and remote access challenges, routing, subnetting, split tunnels, SD-WAN, and local internet breakout is desirable.
  • Experience or knowledge with SIEM and log analytics platforms is desirable.
  • Knowledge of client operating systems and software distribution is desirable.
  • Ability to communicate network and security transformation concepts to senior staff and executives.
  • Awareness of CDN providers and internet security technologies.
  • Graduate-level education in computer science, engineering, or a related field is a bonus but not required.
  • Relevant Azure, AWS, or GCP Architect certifications are a plus.
