Responsibilities
- Develop specialized software tools and simulation platforms for analog mixed-signal circuit design.
- Build automation frameworks, optimization algorithms, and modeling environments for custom silicon development.
- Create software representations of circuits and tools that support circuit designers.
- Apply software design methodologies to hardware design workflows.
- Potentially develop web applications and frontend user interfaces for modeling and design tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
- Expert-level proficiency in Python and/or C++.
- Strong background in object-oriented programming and software architecture design.
- Experience with computational geometry, constraint solvers, or optimization algorithms.
- Knowledge of event-driven programming and system-level simulation frameworks.
- Understanding of analog layout principles, including matching, shielding, parasitics, and DRC/LVS.
- Familiarity with EDA tool APIs and file formats such as LEF/DEF, GDSII, and OpenAccess.
- Experience developing web applications such as Flask or React and designing frontend user interfaces.
