Base Salary
$133k - $213k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define product component requirements and incorporate feedback into designs and solutions.
- Translate functional requirements into system designs and communicate component interactions.
- Design and develop product components, refine code plans, and lead design reviews.
- Estimate project delivery costs and escalate issues that may cause delays.
- Create, implement, and maintain extensible and reusable code while driving code quality.
- Debug moderately complex issues and identify opportunities for product automation.
- Lead code reviews and provide feedback on coding standards and practices.
- Create complex test plans, identify test gaps, and address defects proactively.
- Use data analysis and monitoring standards to identify patterns and defects.
- Participate in on-call rotations and troubleshoot complex incidents.
- Build and enhance developer tools for programs and applications.
- Mentor engineers and promote improved engineering standards, processes, and practices.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree, 2 years with an advanced degree, 0 years with a PhD, or 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience in software engineering or a related field.
- Experience developing or implementing web-based or mobile applications.
- Experience in a leadership role, with or without direct reports.
- Experience creating and maintaining test plans and executing testing procedures.
- Experience debugging and troubleshooting software issues.
- Experience with code review, coding standards, developer tools, container-based technologies, and enterprise-scale web services.
- Experience with product development and client-facing technical teams.
- Experience driving adoption of GenAI and AI-assisted engineering practices while maintaining security, data protection, intellectual property, and compliance standards.
- Experience across the software development lifecycle, including development, quality engineering, automation, deployment, production validation, and production support.
- Strong understanding of shift-left testing, automated testing, performance testing, defect management, and root cause analysis.
- Ability to collaborate across Development, QA, DevOps, Product, Architecture, and Production Support teams.
- Experience mentoring engineers and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Benefits
- Estimated salary range of $133,300.00 to $213,400.00 USD per year, potentially including sales incentive payments if applicable.

- At least 3 days per week in the office, with expectations confirmed by the hiring manager.
- Travel required 5–10% of the time.
