Base Salary
$141k - $162k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop containerized services for a distributed, multi-tenant system processing real-time events and network telemetry from public clouds.
- Design, defend, implement, deploy, and operate reliable services and critical subsystems.
- Own features across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements clarification through customer usage.
- Write primarily in Go and work with data pipelines using SQL or other interfaces.
- Use Kubernetes as the service infrastructure platform.
- Perform developer, functional, and integration testing to maintain code quality and product resilience.
- Mentor junior engineers, new graduates, and interns.
- Partner with Product Management and stakeholders to refine requirements and understand customer problems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent degree; a master’s degree is a plus.
- At least 2 years of experience building distributed and scalable software and systems.
- Experience with Go and SQL.
- Extensive API-level or programming-level experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with containerized services and Kubernetes is desired.
- Experience with REST API clients and a Unix/Linux programming environment.
- General TCP/IP networking knowledge.
- Experience with networking and security controls is a plus.
- CloudFormation, Terraform, and Ansible experience are nice to have.
- Willingness to learn continuously, follow technology trends, and work collaboratively.
