Base Salary
$100k - $120k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise automation modernization and migration programs from assessment through execution.
- Design, develop, and implement scalable automation frameworks using Playwright and Python.
- Establish architecture standards, reusable components, coding guidelines, and automation best practices.
- Provide technical leadership across web, API, desktop, and database automation domains.
- Partner with stakeholders, application teams, and quality engineering organizations on migration strategies and roadmaps.
- Drive proof-of-concepts, architecture reviews, technical assessments, and solution recommendations.
- Design AI-assisted automation solutions to improve testing efficiency, migration throughput, and delivery quality.
- Guide CI/CD integration strategies and automation execution pipelines.
- Identify risks and dependencies, drive mitigation strategies, and mentor engineering teams.
Requirements
- At least 12 years of test automation and quality engineering experience.
- At least 5 years of automation architecture experience.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Playwright and Python development.
- Experience with TypeScript and/or JavaScript and building enterprise automation frameworks from scratch.
- Expertise in web, API, desktop, and database automation.
- Experience with GitHub, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins for CI/CD.
- Experience leading automation modernization and migration initiatives.
- Strong architecture leadership, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills.
- Experience with AI-native SDLC practices, agentic AI, prompt engineering, RAG, and LLM integrations.
- Preferred experience includes Tosca-to-Playwright migration, PDF, email, and mainframe automation, Automation Centers of Excellence, governance standards, and AI-assisted migration tools.
