Base Salary
$99k - $207k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support infrastructure services using Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Build, optimize, and maintain production CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or Jenkins.
- Develop and maintain automation through scripting and other tools.
- Configure and tune cloud protective controls, including groups and application gateways.
- Manage cloud compute, storage, networking, and database services while following security and compliance frameworks.
- Integrate testing into engineering pipelines and collaborate with engineers and subject matter experts.
- Establish security best practices for system implementations and data privacy.
- Provision OpenShift and Kubernetes environments across cloud, data center, and edge environments and multiple security domains.
- Conduct trade studies evaluating open-source, commercial, and government solutions based on security, supportability, performance, cost, user experience, and operational timing.
- Scale existing platforms and collaborate with teams on integration requirements.
- Work with security teams to maintain compliance and develop secure solutions.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- An active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
- A BS/BA plus seven years of experience or equivalent is required.
- At least seven years of cloud or infrastructure engineering experience is required.
- Extensive hands-on experience with one or more of OpenShift, AWS, GCP, or Rancher is required.
- Expert Terraform or comparable infrastructure-as-code experience is required.
- Production Kubernetes cluster operations experience supporting processing workloads is required.
- Experience with Docker or Podman and GitLab or Jenkins pipelines is required.
- Scripting or programming abilities are required.
- Experience with GitOps and ArgoCD is required.
- Linux and Red Hat knowledge is desired.
- Digital Twin systems experience is desired.
- Elastic Stack, Elastic, Logstash, Kibana, or similar experience is desired.
- Experience with continuous monitoring and automated security tools is desired.
- Strong communication skills for presenting to senior leadership are desired.
